After months of prayer, discernment, and relationship-building, we are stepping forward in faith to launch Koinonia Selma—with a target launch date of summer 2026.
This is not about expanding a brand.
This is about multiplying ministry and extending God’s presence into a community that needs it.

Selma is a growing community with real spiritual need—especially among families. We believe God has opened a door for Koinonia to bring a healthy, Presence-centered, Spirit-empowered church into this city.
Through a prayerful merger process with New Day Church in Selma, we have been given their church building and the opportunity to honor what has come before while building something new for the future.
How You Can Be Part of the Launch
Give
Launching a campus requires faith and generosity. Your giving directly supports renovations, equipment, staffing, and ministry startup costs.
Pray
Prayer is foundational. As we move toward launch, we are covering every step in prayer.
Join the Launch Team
We are building a committed launch team—people who will attend and serve faithfully for the first 12–18 months to help establish culture, ministries, and momentum from day one. Specific team needs: musicians and children's ministry.
Selma Outreach: Back to School Bash Campaign
This August 8th, we're excited to host our Back to School Bash at our new Selma campus! Our heart is twofold: to bless local families as they prepare for a new school year and to welcome the Selma community into our newly renovated church home.
Our goal is to bless 100 students in the Selma community with everything they need to start the school year with confidence–a brand-new backpack, school supplies, a fresh haircut, and lunch for the family.

Preparing for Launch
With the building now in hand, our focus is on preparing the campus for ministry. This includes:
- Remodeling children’s ministry spaces
- Creating safe, welcoming environments for families
- Equipping the campus for long-term impact
Our goal is to open the doors and begin weekly services summer 2026.
